The People Behind the Fire
We’re a team of grilling enthusiasts, backyard cooks, and gear obsessives dedicated to helping you grill smarter, not harder.
Who We Are
TheGrill.Blog was born from a simple frustration: finding trustworthy, practical advice about grills and their parts was surprisingly hard. Most guides were either too vague, too sponsored, or clearly written by someone who’d never actually stood over a charcoal chimney at 6am.
So in 2021, a small group of weekend grillers, competition BBQ veterans, and mechanical tinkerers decided to build the resource they always wished existed โ one that covers everything from choosing the right grill grates to diagnosing a faulty igniter, sourcing replacement burners, and mastering temperature zones.
Our focus is singular: grills and their parts. That means charcoal grills, gas grills, pellet smokers, flat-top griddles, kamado cookers, and every component inside and around them.
The Editorial Team
Our core contributors include a certified BBQ judge, a former appliance repair technician, a food scientist, and several competition pitmasters. Every article is written by someone with real hands-on experience, then reviewed for accuracy before publishing.
Our Mission
“Turn every backyard cook into a confident griller.”
That’s the north star for every article, review, and guide we publish. We believe great grilling is accessible to everyone โ it just takes the right information, the right equipment, and a little patience with the coals.
We don’t chase trending topics or write filler content to pad our site. Every post on TheGrill.Blog answers a real question that real grillers ask. If you’ve ever wondered what BTU rating actually matters on a gas grill, why your pellet smoker temperature swings, or how to season a new cast iron grate properly โ you’re exactly who we write for.
